Australian scholarships for LA Trobe University

LA Trobe University Australia funded graduate and post graduate scholarships

La Trobe University in Australia offer the undergraduate and post graduate scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on their academic records.

Scholarships amount:

La Trobe the academic excellence scholarships (AES) cover the tuition fees for brilliant students. La Trobe offers the scholarships at the undergraduate and post graduate level. The amount of the scholarship is between $10.000 and $20,000. These scholarships are paid across  a minimum of two semester(or 12 months)

Target students: applicant must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or new Zealand

LAST date for Apply: Students can apply 3 times in a year.

Students can apply before 11 September, 2015, 13 november2015, and 8 January 2016.

Area of Subject: Scholarships are offered in the subject of business school MBA scholarship.

La Trobe University offers 10 scholarships ($ 10,000 each) in a master of business administration (MBA) program. The scholarships are distributed equally across registered students for the duration of the course.

Last deadline: Students can apply before 24 October 2016.

Post graduate international research scheme (IPRS) and LA Trobe university fee remission research scholarship (LTUFRRS) will be offer to the Australian students as well as international students.

The IPRS and LTUFRRS are open to the international students who want to pursue their degree by research at a master’s or PHD level. They cover the tuition fee for two years for master by research degree and three years by the PHD doctoral degree.

Both scholarships are awarded on the academic merit, and application must have efficiency on English language. International students can apply for these scholarships when they submit their admission application in La Trobe university.

Last deadline: students can apply before 30 September 2016.

Australian scholarships for Monash university

Monash university offers the bachelors and master degree scholarships for international students. These scholarships are granted for the outstanding international students who wish to pursue an undergraduate and post graduate degree at Monash University.

Host institutes: Monash University in Australia is offering the bachelors and master degree programs.

Field of study:

Students can get the scholarships in all the subjects students will get full time undergraduate and post graduate coursework programs offered at the university not including bachelors of medicine and bachelors of surgery (MBBS) or master of business administration  and Monash pathway programs.

Target group: international students from all the countries can apply for the scholarships.

Number of scholarships:  there are four scholarships are available for international students

Scholarships Value/ inclusion:

Students will get the 100% course fee until the minimum number s of point for your degree at the Monash campus in Australia (excludes OSHC, accommodation and living costs.)

Eligibility criteria:

Students must be international students.

Students will be commencing a full time undergraduate and post graduate coursework degree at Monash degree at a Monash campus in Australia. Students will receive a full Monash course offer.

Process for applying:

Students will receive all the Monash course offers with no condition. Students must submit the separate application form for this scholarship by the deadline

Last deadline: Students can apply till 15 October 2015,

Description:


They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.
They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.
The study and research opportunities provided by Australia Awards Scholarships develop skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to the development outcomes of their own country.

Cost for a participant:

Fully Funded

The Awards are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution, including any preparatory training. The following benefits generally apply:

  • Full tuition fees.
  • Return air travel—payment of a single return, economy class airfare to and from Australia, via the most direct route.
  • Establishment allowance—a once only payment of A$5,000 as a contribution towards as accommodation expenses, text books, study materials.
  • Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) is a fortnightly contribution to basic living expenses paid at a rate determined by the department. From 1 January 2013, CLE payable to Scholars studying under an ADS is A$30,000 per year.
  • Introductory Academic Program (IAP)—a compulsory 4-6 week program prior to the commencement of formal academic studies covering information on life and study in Australia.
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award (for award holder only)—provided to cover the student’s basic medical costs (with the exception of pre existing conditions).
  • Pre-course English (PCE) fees—if deemed necessary PCE may be available for students for in-country and/or in-Australia training.
  • Supplementary Academic Support may be available to ensure a Scholar’s academic success or enhance their academic experience.
  • Fieldwork (for research students only)—may be available for eligible research students for one return economy class airfare via the most direct route to their country of citizenship or within Australia.
