There are two types of scholarships available:
-Applied and Professional Ethics Scholarships: The Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied (IDEA) Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Leeds is able to offer partial fees scholarships for the MA/PGDip Applied and Professional Ethics (Online).
–Biomedical and Health Care Ethics Scholarship: The Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied (IDEA) Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Leeds is able to offer scholarships for the MA/PGDip Biomedical & Health Care Ethics programmes, both campus and online.

Description of Ideal Candidate:
-Applied and Professional Ethics Scholarships: Any applicant (UK/EU/International and FT/PT) who applies for the MA/PGDip before the deadline is entitled to apply for a scholarship.
-Biomedical and Health Care Ethics Scholarship: Current and former medical staff who apply to the MA/PGDip Biomedical and Health Care Ethics (either online or campus-based) are eligible to apply. Preference may be given to clinical staff.

Cost for a participant:
Partially Funded
The scholarships provide partial payment of the academic tuition fees for the course. This allows academically gifted students to take the course who would otherwise not be able to for financial reasons.
