Biography
Born in Quetta, Pakistan in 1965. After Having B. Sc. (Hons.) with specialization in Entomology during 1989 from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan, proceeded to the USA in 1992 to get MS from New MexicoStateUniversity in Biological Sciences (Entomology). After the evaluation of Ph. D Dissertation from USA and Egypt, the Degree was awarded from the University of Balochistan, Pakistan during 2005 in Zoology (Entomology).
EXPERIENCE:
Over 21 years experience of teaching / research / administrative experience in the Ministry of Agriculture and various Universities of Pakistan at senior levels (Director / Dean / Additional Registrar Academics etc.).
MAJOR FIELDS OF INTERESTS:
Environmental Biology, Agricultural Entomology, Biological Control of Pests, Integrated Pest Management, Applied Entomology, Systematic Entomology and Medical Entomology.
PUBLICATIONS:
Have more than 45 national / international research publications with some impact factors.
AUTHOR OF BOOKS:
Two books have been published in Germany on IPM and biological control of pests.
WORKSHOPS / SEMINARS:
Organized / conducted >30 Worksops / Training's. Delivered 06 Seminars in USA and 42 in Pakistan.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Prepared 17 PC-Is. MS / M. Sc. / BS level Paper Setter / Head Examiner of various Universities. Served 32 committees at University level as chairman / member.
