Zika Virus Vaccine to Target Gliobastom



The researchers of the University of Texas Medical Branch developed a vaccine against Zika virus. The vaccine is the cure of Gliobastoma (GBM; malignant Grade IV tumors) cancer of glial cells that deliver oxygen, nutrition and structural stability to other brain cells. The Zika virus vaccine efficiently targeted and killed the cancerous cells without harming healthy cells in mice.
